Worked with numerous groups and musicians, including Igor Butman, Vyacheslav Ganelin, Sofia Gubaidulina, Alexey Kruglov, Sergey Kuryokhin and his project "Pop-mechanics", Arkady Shilkloper, Alexei Aigui, the group "Grazhdanskaya oborona", DK", "Aquarium", "Alice", "DDT", "Center", Valentina Ponomareva, Oleg Garkusha, and many others. Wrote music for films and theater productions at the Taganka Theater, and other theaters in Moscow, Italy, Austria. Participated in performances and recordings of nearly 100 albums of different bands and projects, such as: Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten), Akira Sakata, Embryo, Kazutoki Umezu, Yoriyuki Harada, "Pop-Mechanics" Sergei Kuryokhin, "Grazhdanskaya oborona", Matthew Shipp, MCH Band, Lydia Kavina, "DK", and many others.Dr. Sergey Letov plays the saxophones (soprano, tenor, baritone, C-Melody, bass-clarinet, flutes (including Piccolo and Alto), ethnic woodwind instruments, brass instruments MIDI controllers Akai EWI USB and Yamaha WX-5, the tools of his own invention.
